The TSD department offers industry-oriented training programs targeting marginalized youth to help them gain employability skills. The programs cover a wide range of skills, including job readiness, digital literacy, and specific trades, with placement linkages.
The initiative aims to support youth from disadvantaged backgrounds by equipping them with employable skills, building capacities, linking them with industry requirements, and creating employment opportunities.
ID Tech’s training projects, including DDU-GKY and other programs, are implemented in states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Manipur, Assam, and Kerala.
ID Tech offers two models for skill education:
- Funded Model: Supported by government schemes like PMKVY, DDU-GKY, and others, where courses are free for students.
- Non-Funded Model: Paid programs where students pay course fees, and training centers cover assessment and certification costs.
Training centers need to have a minimum of 2-3 rooms, seating for at least 10 students per batch, a lab relevant to the course, a computer lab with 5-15 computers and internet, first aid, fire safety equipment, and separate washrooms.
The franchise registration fees are ₹12,000 for three years or ₹6,000 for one year. Additional student certification fees apply, and renewal fees may be required depending on the center’s performance.
The welcome kit includes soft copies of banners, student enrollment forms, pamphlet and poster designs, student I-card design, a center authorization certificate, and course curriculum details.
Partners benefit from low investment, easy center approval, no biometric requirements, unlimited training targets, and support for NSDC affiliation.
ID Tech collaborates with industry partners to link student profiles with skill domains and specific job requirements, providing industry-specific training and placement support.
A new training center is coming up in Shivsagar, Assam, with a capacity to accommodate 105 candidates.
